About Me:

I was born with a passion for movement and music. My parents encouraged this passion, and I grew up taking dance classes, later performing in dance troupes, judging cheer-leading competitions, and even modeling activewear.

As a single parent, I started teaching fitness classes in 1980 to help pay for my (then diagnosed hyperactive) son to attend a Montessori School. After falling in love with teaching, I went on to get certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in Personal Training, Health Coaching, and Group Fitness in 1998.

I love creating and delivering challenging, motivating, fun, and memorable workouts that keep you coming back for more. I want you to feel confident, inspired, strengthened, and motivated to stay fit and healthy.

With numerous exercise specialties under my belt, I’m currently teaching step, strength training, Yoga/Pilates/Barre/Tai Chi/meditation, BootCamp (Cardio & Weights). And I’ve been known to add a Zumba dance to classes.

When we exercise regularly, we empower ourselves with better health and vitality. In my classes we not only strengthen our bodies, we exercise our mind too. And we improve our ability to cope with the many stresses in the world.

Regular exercise will make you feel better, more optimistic and self-confident, this will transfer to all areas of your life.
I’ve also enjoyed a parallel career in mental health, social work, and personal development. As a life coach, hypnotherapist, NLP Master, trainer, and author, I also help people overcome physical, mental, and emotional roadblocks so they can achieve their goals. I currently work with people individually and in groups for weight loss, smoking cessation, pain management, chronic medical conditions, sports performance, trauma from past events, anxiety, depression, and more (via zoom).
